Rwanda Girls School Project

www.rwandagirlsschool.org

The project: It is envisaged that the new school will offer teaching in a highly disciplined environment in which academic excellence is the focus.

In addition, there will be an emphasis on science to redress the balance, and to prove to girls that they have as much aptitude for the sciences as boys do.

Rwanda is in great need of doctors, pharmacists, biologists, engineers and other professionals with science degrees.

The school will initially accommodate 200 girls, and for the next two year we will add accommodation and classrooms for a further 200 new girls, until we reach our total of 600. It will offer six years of secondary or high school education, preparing girls for entry to university. For more information, please visit the website.
