What is MuzikTree?
MuzikTree is for musicians, music listeners and anyone who wants to help to make the world a better place.
MuzikTree - through Radio MuzikTree and The Music Room - is committed to supporting musicians and providing an opportunity for new artists and bands to be heard. We want users to be involved through contributing music, providing reviews, placing ads and getting in touch with other musicians and music fans.
MuzikTree is also a space for community/environmental/human rights/peace groups and charities that are involved in improving the lives of people anywhere in the world.
Voicebox tries to capture the voice of users, through online petitions and the MuzikTree Action Vote, and to communicate the results to politicians and decision makers in new and original ways.
Why MuzikTree and Voicebox?
Music transends all cultures, social dvisions and nations. While there's an occasional skirmish at a gig, no wars have been fought over music. MuzikTree attempts to bring together the positive attitude that music engenders with campaigning for making our world more peaceful, fair and less polluted. The link between music and attempts at change have always been strong. MuzikTree is a continuation of that tradition in a world that is increasingly complex and which offers greater opportunities for expression, especially through the Internet.
Who runs MuzikTree?
MuzikTree was founded by Paul Greening and is run by him and volunteers. Paul is a musician and has worked in public engagemet and policy for a number of years. MuzikTree would like to get more people involved in the development of the website. If you are interested please click Want to help? or e-mail
